Carsten Bjørnlund is a Danish actor and graduate of the Danish National School of Performing Arts (2002). Best known for his recurring role as Rasmus in TV2's Rita (seasons 1–3 and 5 (2012–2020) and as Frederik Grønnegaard in the DR drama The Legacy (2014–2017) opposite Trine Dyrholm. He also appeared in The Killing season 2 (2009), The Thing (2011) the DR Drama series Liberty (2018) and the German ARD series Schule am Meer (2022–2025), in which he plays a recurring role across five films.

Bjørnlund’s upcoming feature, Woman Unknown, directed by May el-Toukhy, has been selected for the main competition at Venice Film Festival 2026.
