Oscar Dyekjær Giese ❋1995

Oscar Dyekjær Giese is an actor and screenwriter and a graduate of the National Film School of Denmark. He made his screen debut in a supporting role in Michael Noer’s Northwest (2013), followed by performances in Anti (2016) and All In (2017), the latter earning him a nomination from the Danish Critics’ Association.

Oscar reunited with Noer in Before the Frost (2019) and appeared opposite Iben Hjejle in the Swedish series Honour (2022). In 2021, he starred as lead in his own series 2 Days, currently streaming on HBO, while also serving as a head writer on the show’s second season. In 2025, he portrayed Mærsk McKinney Møller in the DR mini-series Dynastiet Mærsk.

Alongside his acting work, Oscar writes for television. He has writing credits on the Netflix series The Asset and serves as head writer on the DR drama The Uniform, which has been renewed for a second season and is nominated for a Golden Nymph at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival 2026 in the Best Drama Series category.

Oscar continues to work across Danish film and television, both in front of and behind the camera.
